Digital & IT Support Assistant

Job description

Our client who provides personal growth and professional development business requires a Digital & IT Support Assistant to join their team. Reporting to the Digital Coordinators, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the organization’s technology infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of digital systems which includes providing technical assistance to employees, troubleshooting issues, maintaining hardware and software, and contributing to the overall efficiency of Digital & IT operations.

Responsibilities.

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to staff members for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operation.
  • Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems on various devices.
  • Maintain hardware assets, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals, by performing routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues that cannot be addressed in-house.
  • Assist in managing all company IT infrastructure, websites, software tools applications, CRM systems databases, (Kajabi, Slack, Trello, Bitrix, Microsoft Tools) and networking equipment, to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Support the implementation of IT projects by assisting with testing, training, and documentation.
  • Monitor and respond to IT service requests and incidents in a timely manner, utilizing IT service management tools.
  • Assist to educate employees on best practices for IT usage and security to enhance digital literacy.
  • Collaborate team to develop and implement strategies for improving IT support services and processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in office coordination and administration.
  • Uphold a strict level of confidentiality.
  • Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Digital Coordinator/Lead Operations.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Possess one (1) – three (3) years of working experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Should have proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including operating systems and productivity applications.
  • Possess knowledge of network protocols, systems administration, and IT security best practices.
  • Possess strong communication (written and verbal) skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with IT service management tools is beneficial.
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
