Credit Officer

We are looking for a Credit Officer.

Missions:

1. Prospecting of clients for further analysis
2. Conduct and determine the credit worthiness and risk profile of an individual or business by analysing their data collected, approve and refer to credit committee for final approval
3. Ensure 100% collection of portfolios disbursed monthly
4. Reviewing applications and credit references to set credit limit
5. Ensure statements of accounts are reconciled and balances confirmed with clients to be agreed in line with credit manager (CM)
6. Reporting to the CM on open invoices on a weekly basis with plans on recovery of overdue loans
7. Maintain workflow process to make sure all agreements are signed and documents are strictly adhered to
8. Ensure compliance with all internal practices in all aspects of the job.

Required profile for job ad : Credit Officer

‍Qualifications:

• A university degree or HND in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
• A minimum of 2years relevant working experience in credit, customer service experience, account receivables and related field.
